Child Care Self-Assessment Guides
The Self-Assessment Guides were developed by the Child Care Advocate Program with input from Regional Offices, the Department's Policy Development Bureau, Child Care Advisory Boards, and the child care community. These guides are designed as a ”user friendly” tool to assist Child Care Center and Family Child Care Home providers in performing periodic reviews of their facility operations to achieve compliance with licensing regulations. Child care providers may copy these guides if they wish as there is no copyright. Advocate staff have been and will continue using these guides as a training tool when speaking with provider organizations and others in the child care field.
