Information Regarding Pending Applications

Due to the volume of work we receive and our staffing configuration, we are providing you with detailed information about our procedures and the apparent delays in processing applications.

  1. Our goal is to process all applications as efficiently as possible.
  2. If your name appears on any of the pending lists below this means we received your application. We aim to update the pending list on a weekly basis.
  3. It can take approximately three to four weeks after we post your name on the pending lists to process your payment. We ask that you do not stop payment on your check as we do not want you to incur any bounced check fees or have to resubmit another check.
  4. Once your check is processed, it can take approximately 30 days for us to process your application.
  5. If we discover a problem with your application, we will attempt to contact you by phone to resolve the matter. If you have changed your phone number, please write a daytime phone number on your application.
  6. If we are unable to resolve the matter, you will receive an incomplete letter and the application will be delayed until the matter is resolved.
